About the Author: Dr. Zylowska is a board-certified psychiatrist, educator and a co-founder of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. Dr. Zylowska led the study of Mindful Awareness Practices for ADHD teens and adults, published in J of Attention Disorder, 2008. She is also an author of “The Mindfulness Prescription for Adult ADHD” book which was named by CHADD “The 2012 Most Innovative Program”. In her private practice located in the Silicon Valley area, Dr. Zylowska incorporates mindful awareness to help adults with ADHD strengthen their self-regulation skills.
